I started playing chess at age five, and am a former Washington State Elementary Chess Champion. Playing chess in Seattle was always important to me and it's my pleasure to be able to give back to this wonderful community.

I got involved with the WCF and joined the board in 2017 shortly after moving back after graduating University. Now, in my role as Scholastic Coordinator, my goal is to work to make chess accessible to all students in Washington. I have experience coaching students in after-school classes, camps, and I still do private coaching.

During this time, when so many activities are unavailable, I am so excited that we have transitioned to online chess to allow so many the chance to continue playing.
